The digital team of ECCO partnered up with ILE to create a solid concept for their loyalty program. When going through the brief with the team it was clear that the biggest challenge was to create a core focus for the app and to create a link between ECCO products and the actual program.

Phase 1

Identifying the problem and exploring solutions

So how could we create one focus and link the loyalty program with ECCO products? By physically listing out all elements that were required and mapping out links. Different solutions were explored while maintaining within the set boundaries.

To understand why previous concept ideas did not work we organized some do’s and don’ts. By keeping an open mind new and refreshing ideas came to live. This was the first step in creating the final concept.

Phase 2

Refining our ideas

Once multiple design directions were explored and the features were defined, we decided to go for a minimalist approach with card placement to group information and create a visual hierarchy.

Phase 3

Emphasising the walking experience

Part of phase three included flushing out all ideas that did not contribute to the goal. By eliminating all excess ideas we were left with a clear direction.

Phase 4

Finalising the concept

The final concept involved a working prototype (made by ILE’s digital team).
